Mable Hegeman

Mable Louise Hegeman, 76, of Atkins Arkansas died Monday, December 25, 2006 at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Morrilton.

She was born October 21, 1930 in Atkins and was the daughter of the late Carl and Dora Vann Stubbs.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, William H. Hegeman, a grandson, Austin Hegeman, four brothers and two sisters.  She was a member of the Atkins Church of the Assumption and was known for baking for  all fundraisers.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, William (Bill) and Linda Hegeman and, Blaine and Sheila Hegeman; three daughters and sons-in-law, Peggy and Terry Foster, Kathy and Keith Shipley and Nancy and Victor Hicks, all of Atkins; one brother, Raymond Stubbs of Atkins; four sisters, Helen Haney Winton of Springdale, Evelyn Bauman of Atkins, Carlene Austin of Atkins, Mary Ann Lollis of Morrilton, 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, December 28 at Lemley Chapel with the Rev. Chad Duvall, Rev. Peggy Foster and Rev. Keith Shipley officiating.  Burial will be in Atkins Catholic Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday.

Pallbearers will be Todd Hegeman, Brandon Shipley, Chris Shipley, Logan Shipley, Caleb Hicks, and Spencer Hegeman.  Honorary pallbearer will be Ben Hegeman.
