Kenneth Myers, 75, of Dover, died Monday, Feb. 25, 2008, at his home.

He was born Sept. 30, 1933, in Jasper, he was the son of the late Alfred and Rosetta Plumlee Myers, was a member of the River Valley Bowling League in Russellville, was a Marine Veteran, a member of Southern Cherokee of Texas and worked as a truck driver most of his life.

He was also preceded in death by six brothers and a sister.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Daniel Myers of Dover; a son and daughter-in-law, James and Carolyn Myers of Atkins; a daughter, Pamela Lewis and her husband, Rocky, of Moreland; grandchildren, David Lewis, Valerie Lewis and fiancé, Chris Campbell, James Cantrell, Allica Helton and her husband, Andrew Helton; and two great-grandchildren, Andrew Helton II and Ayden Helton.

Graveside service and burial will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 28, in Phoenix Cemetery with the Rev. James Odell Chronister officiating. Arrangements are by Lemley Funeral Service.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Ivey, Junior Rudder, Roger Daniel, Dale Freeman, Robin Ivey and Brad Hyatt. Honorary Bearers will be nephews and friends of the family.
