Barbara Forehand, 75, of Dover, died Monday, March 5, 2007 at her home surrounded by her family.
A daughter of the late William Clayton and Verna A. Ethridge Beliew, she was born Sept. 25, 1931 in Chicago, Ill. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Rogers-Rye Post # 2283 Women's Auxiliary.
She was the widow of Clyde Faucette Forehand, and was also preceded in death by a son, Jack Allen Forehand; a brother, Marvin Beliew; and a sister, Joyce Beliew.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, William Lee Forehand and Donald Wayne and Leigh Ann Forehand, all of Dover; two daughters and a son-in-law, Linda Joyce Forehand of Dover and Cathleen Ann Forehand and James Fossitt of Conway; nine grandchildren, Brian Forehand of Louisiana, Heather Jackson and her husband, Paul of Louisiana, Jeremiah Forehand of Missouri, Chrissy Webb of Arlington, Texas, Angela Ingold and her husband, Eddie of Oahu, Hawaii, Corey and Haley Fossitt of Conway, and Blake and Heath Forehand of Dover; six great-grandchildren, Karissa Webb, Hannah and Kyle Ingold, Connor Forehand and Ghanem and Nadia "Tumie" Mando; and an aunt, Helen Ethridge of Texas.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the Shinn Chapel, officiated by Mr. Donny Forehand, Mr. Micah Williams and the Rev. David Bishop. Burial will be in Forehand Cemetery near Dover, by Shinn Funeral Service.
Active pallbearers will be Blake, Corey and Brian Forehand, Michael McNew, B. J. Van Zant and Jim Fossitt.
