Carl Freeman
Carl Wayne Freeman, 63, of Dover, died Sunday, July 22, 2007, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock.
He was born Oct, 17, 1943, in the Gum Log community to Roy Leonard and Lois Novell Isbell Freeman.
Carl retired from Tyson Foods, Inc. after 19 years. He loved fishing, hunting, and spending time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Roy Freeman Jr.; a sister, Wilma Morrison; and two brothers-in-law, Harold "Joe Bill" Duvall, and Kenny Morrison.
Survivors include a brother, William "Bill" Freeman of Dover; four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Dorothy Duvall of Russellville, Irene and Fred Goates, Louise and Bill Bowman, all of Dover, and Barbara and Charlie Townsend of New Blaine; 18 nieces and nephews; numerous great nieces and nephews; and a host of friends and relatives.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 25, at the Shinn Chapel with the Rev. Richard Falbo and the Rev. Terry Duvall officiating. Burial will be in Phoenix Cemetery, near Moreland, under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service.
Active pallbearers will be Wesley Freeman, Roy Deon Freeman, David Freeman, Tim Goates, Andrew Townsend, and Michael Bowman. Honorary pallbearers will be Matthew Townsend, Tony Bowman, Rodney Williams, Tom Williams, Mark Williams, Joe Eakin, Mike Eakin, Ronnie Jones, Danny Cloud, Jim Wisbrock, Roy Lee Freeman and Donnie Freeman.
