Florencella Wallace

Florencella "Jonny" Wallace, 85, a resident of Russellville, died Tuesday, July 31, 2007, at her home.

She was born Oct. 16, 1921, at Grand Forks, N.D., to Daniel and Snow Leek. She was a member of Central Presbyterian Church and a former member of Russellville Country Club. She graduated from business college in 1941 in Minneapolis, Minn.; was a former Girl Scout leader; and enjoyed traveling the world with her husband.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Delos "Scotty" Wallace of Russellville; a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Frances Wallace of Atkins; two daughters, Linda May and Bonnie Wallace, both of Russellville; a granddaughter, Heather May of Russellville; and two great-granddaughters, Emma and Olivia May, both of Russellville.

A private graveside service will be held at Rest Haven Memorial Park with the Rev. Kenyon P. Kalvesmaki officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
