Roy Bradley

Roy Bradley, 48, of Dardanelle, died Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2007, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville.

A son of the late Roy Alfred Bradley, Sr. and the late Jane T. Vanwinkle Bradley, he was born Feb. 8, 1959, in Modesto, Calif. He was an employee of VEI Construction Company in Russellville.

He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Regina Bradley.

Survivors include three sons, Roy Bradley III of Atkins, and Daniel and Jonathan Bradley, both of Pottsville; a daughter, Jessica Bunton of Atkins; his ex-wife, Joann Savage of Atkins; four brothers, James O. Bradley of Oklahoma, Donald Keith Bradley of California, Joe Dale Bradley of Dardanelle, and Boyd Hunter of Pottsville; two sisters, Sheryl Hellmer of Russellville and Cora Sue Prine of California; and six grandchildren, Dustin Joe Bunton of Pottsville, Tommy Joe Barfield, Christopher Barfield, Geanie Barfield, Faith Ann Keeling and Zachary Keeling, all of Atkins.

Funeral services were Saturday at South New Hope Assembly of God, officiated by Rev. C. R. Young and Rev. Norman Chenowith. Burial was in Pisgah Cemetery near Pottsville, by Shinn Funeral Service.

Active pallbearers were Davey Bunton, Curtis Savage, Jimmy Savage, John VanHorn, James Moore and Jerry Savage. Honorary pallbearers were his co-workers at VEI Construction Company.
