Earl Schembra

Earl Grant Schembra, 61, of Greenbrier, formerly of Dover, died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008 at his sister’s home in Scottsville.
The son of the late Charles and Lola B. Schembra, he was born June 14, 1946 in Harrisburg. He was a tool and die machinist at Laddish before his retirement. He was a lifetime member of the North American Hunting Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two children, Steven Brian Schembra and Melissa Ann Schembra; four brothers, Charles Schembra, Webb Schembra, Lawrence Schembra, Daniel Schembra; and one sister, Ellen Poynor.
He is survived by two sons, Kenneth Schembra and wife, Lisa, of Dover and Darrell Schembra and wife, Cindy, of Greenbrier; a daughter, Marsha Schembra of Dover; four brothers, Henry Schembra and wife, Mary, of Dover, Nicky Schembra and wife, Debbie, of Hector, Lloyd Schembra and wife, Anna, of Dover, Phillip Schembra and wife, April, of Dover; one sister, Patricia Huffman and husband, Dennis, of Hector; three grandchildren, Courtney Schembra of Russellville, Teyrria Schembra of Russellville and Micheal Schembra of Dover and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Saturday at The Gospel Lighthouse Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Arnold Humphrey officiating. Burial was at Owens Cemetery at Dover, by Humphrey Funeral Service.
