Jackie Garrison

Jackie Wayne Garrison, 64, of London, died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Russellville.
The son of Bud and Virgie Bishop Garrison, he was born Oct. 4, 1943, in Mayflower, the 6th of 12 brothers and sisters. After growing up in the Russellville area, Jackie served in the United States Army National Guard during the Vietnam era. He was self employed as a brick mason and was an avid outdoors-man.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing in Arkansas, Canada and Alaska.  He was a member of the Assembly of God Church at Pottsville.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by three daughters, Pamela Chisum of London, Teresa Lynn Ross of Tennessee, Jennifer Rena of Michigan; a son, Jack Garrison of Tennessee; two grandchildren, Erica Pearson of Russellville, Euel Pearson of Russellville, eight great-grandchildren; four brothers, Rickey Garrison of London,  Jerry Davis of Russellville, Johnny Davis of Ashland City, Tenn., and Neal Davis of Wayland, Mich.; four sisters, Phyllis Smith of Russellville, Joyce Pinkerton of Pierceton, Ind., Alice Ellert of Garrett, Ind., and Sybil Phillips of Russellville.            
Funeral services were Friday at Humphrey Chapel. Rev. Terrell Bishop and Rev. Danny Baker officiating.  Burial was at Pisgah Cemetery at Pottsville by Humphrey Funeral Service.
